Return and Refund Policy

🎈 Refund & Return Policy – Balloon Works

At Balloon Works, every décor piece is custom-made to reflect your unique event vision. Because our work is tailored, we have specific policies around cancellations, refunds, and returns:

📅 Cancellations

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will forfeit the deposit due to preparation and material costs.
  • If weather or emergencies arise, we will do our best to reschedule or apply your deposit to a future event within 3 months.

💳 Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable. Supplies are purchased once deposits are made for your custom order.
  • No refunds are provided after the décor has been installed or delivered, unless there is a confirmed error on Balloon Works part.

🎁 Returns

  • Because all balloon installations are custom and temporary, we do not accept returns on any balloon products or décor.
  • Rentals (e.g., backdrops, props, pedestals) must be returned in good condition. If damaged or missing, fees will apply.

🌧️ Weather & Outdoor Installations

  • Outdoor setups are weather-sensitive. In the event of bad weather, we may require a tented area or an indoor alternative.
  • Refunds will not be provided due to weather if we’ve already begun preparation or setup.

🔄 Modifications

  • Changes to your design, colors, or theme must be submitted at least 14 days before your event, there may be additional charges if new supplies are required for modifications.

 

Use and Handling of Props

  • Any props provided by Balloon Works (including but not limited to backdrops, stands, plinths, signage, and specialty décor items) are for decorative purposes only and must not be moved, altered, or repositioned by the client or guests after installation. These items are often fragile or custom-built, and unauthorized handling may result in damage or safety hazards.
  • Balloon Works reserves the right to charge the client for any repairs or replacements resulting from improper handling or unauthorized movement of props. If you anticipate a need to relocate any items during your event, this must be discussed and approved in advance.
